If you are staying at a reputable hotel then you are probably safe enough. But these few tips are good to consider and it would not hurt.

  • You should use your first initial instead of your first name when signing in or you can sign in as Mr. and Mrs.
  • Take hold of a hotel postcard from the counter with the hotel's name, address, and phone number. And keep it with you.
  • When you arrive in your room you must secure the windows and adjoining and balcony doors; check the room thoroughly before locking yourself in.
  • Do not hesitate to ask security to accompany to your room at any time.
