How To Lose Weight After Pregnancy Without Exercise

Maximum of the women finds it hard to achieve a healthy weight after pregnancy. It could be stressful taking care of a newborn, adjusting to a new routine and recovering from childbirth. However, it is very much important to return to a healthy weight after delivery. If your pregnancy started at a normal weight then it should not be more than a couple of months to get back to your pre pregnancy weight if you follow certain rules and exercises. If you were overweight before pregnancy then it could take much longer to get rid out of it.

Breast feeding

Some say breastfeeding helps to lose weight and some say the opposite. It is strongly believed that breastfeeding aided to lose weight because it will make you hungry all the time. If good eating choices are made then it is likely to shed pounds themselves naturally as it helps to burn calories.

Healthy eating

It is very important to have healthy foods. Without the restrictions you could have all the healthy foods and you should focus on the cleanest, freshest diet. It is believed that diet, packed with fresh veggies and lean protein would make a big difference.  You must cut out refined carbs except for on weekends, added protein at breakfast in the form of eggs or greek yogurt, and snacked on fruit and nuts. Eat foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids, calcium, protein and fiber, such as salmon, sardines, tuna, lean meat, chicken, eggs, beans, legumes, yogurt and whole grain foods. Cut down foods which are high in calories. This will help for weight loss after delivery diet such as milkshakes, smoothies, soups, stews, fresh juices and such.

Prepare meals in bulk

You can even prepare meals in bulk.  In order to facilitate the healthy eating you can cook big meals 2-3 mornings a week to eat for lunch and dinner. If you waited to cook after work then you would be too tired to cook and end up eating unhealthy foods. But in the morning you could roast meat and vegetables while getting ready for work. Eating six small meals instead of three big ones will also mean you do not stay hungry in between. Keep the portions smaller, so that you do not feel too heavy at once.

Walking 

Instead of going to the gym it would be better to walk.  You can walk to and from work and on weekends you can put the baby in the ergo and join with your husband while he is walking with the dogs. You can even carry your child with you as it would be a bit of a workout since you are wearing the extra weight.

Sleep

Sleeping would also help you to lose your weight. Every child does not sleep at night. However, it advisable that whenever you get time you need to sleep. Though not proper sleep but much sufficient sleep which would make your body and mind fresh. Try to assign housework to other members and get some sleep while your baby sleeps. Pump out the milk and take a few power nap sessions. Show your partner how to feed your baby

Take weekly weight

You must weighed yourself weekly. You must be sure that people will say it is unhealthy to focus so much on your weight, but it will motivate you to see the numbers drop. You can even measure your waist each week.

Drink water

 You must drink water. Stay hydrated is likely to motivate you because you are breastfeeding your child. So, you must focus on water only so that you do not add any calories from juice or other beverages. If water seems to be boring then you can add a slice of fresh lemon. You must have a maximum of one cup of coffee a day. Include different types of liquids in your daily diet such as milkshakes, smoothies, soups, stews, fresh juices and such. Slowly sip on a full glass of water before you start eating your meal.
 
Eat candy

 You can eat candy.  You can allude to a nasty candy bar habit above if you have. Being a new parent is really stressful so you can cope up with an almost nightly dose of chocolate. You should make no mistake, and this would help you to lose weight without exercise. Include both healthy and delicious food items in your snack menu, such as nuts, chopped fruits, whole grains, roasted sweet potatoes, yogurt mixes and such. Though much effort to lose weight is not required as you would still manage to lose your weight in a reasonable amount of time.
 
Eat Early

Try and bring up your dinner time to late evening instead of night. If possible, have an early dinner, somewhere between 7 and 7:30 pm., so that you are done before 8 pm. It will boost your metabolism and let you reduce weight. If you have to stay awake till late, go for a glass of milk or a cup of green tea. Eating early is the best way to lose weight after pregnancy.
