  1. 1.    1 carrot
  2. 2.    1 celery stalk
  3. 3.    1 apple
  4. 4.    1 cup bean sprouts
  5. 5.    3⁄4 cup sprouts
  6. 6.    1⁄2 cup sunflower kernels

For Dressing:

  1. 1 tablespoon lime juice
  2. 1 tablespoon finely chopped coriander
  3. 2 tablespoons sunflower oil
  4. 1⁄2 teaspoon sesame oil
  5. 1⁄2 teaspoon reduced-salt soy sauce
  6. 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  7. pepper to taste

Directions to Prepare:

Cut the carrot into thin matchstick sized pieces. Cut the celery into the same size. Core the apple and chop it. Combine the carrot, celery, apple, bean sprouts, sprouts and sunflower kernels in a mixing bowl. For dressing, whisk together all the ingredients, seasoning with pepper. Mix it with the salad, toss well and serve.

This salad is considered to be nutritious as it is made with the combination of cabbage, carrots, and yogurt. Many of you may not know that cabbage is actually a great vegetable which helps in losing weight.   1. 200 g of cabbage finely chopped

  6. 30 g radishes, sliced
  7. 1⁄3 cup unsalted roasted peanuts
  8. 4 tablespoons chopped parsley

Directions to Prepare:

Mix the cabbage, carrot and onions in a large bowl. Stir the yogurt and season with pepper. Dress this onto the cabbage mixture and toss well. Just before serving, top it with the radishes, peanuts, and the parsley.

  2. 1/4 cup plain yogurt
  3. 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  4. 1 clove garlic, diced

  7. 500gms of chickpeas, rinsed
  8. 1/2 cup chopped red bell pepper

  1. 1 and a 1/2 cup of diced bell pepper
  2. 1 and a 1/2 cup of chopped broccoli
  3. 1 cup shredded carrots
  4. 1/2 cup diced radishes
  5. 1/2 cup of cream
  6. 50 gms of finely diced onions

Directions to Prepare:
